Get up close and personal to the action and excitement, while enjoying the most exciting new event in Ocala, Florida, "the Horse Capital of the World"! While the rest of the world is starting to think about snow and cold, the average November daytime temperature in Ocala is a balmy 77 Fahrenheit and average rainfall is 2.47 inches - a great time to be out.
The Ocala Jockey Club International 3-Day Event is a stepping stone for competitors onto the world stage as it can qualify them to the 2018 World Equestrian Games at Tryon, NC.
This event will also feature a Fall Family Festival, an event within the event, with holiday shopping at the Vendor Village, entertainment and kids play area with games and prizes. There are a number of ways to enjoy this event, from general admission tickets to tailgating opportunities next to the cross-country action, to VIP Hospitality in the OJC Clubhouse.
To promote spectator engagement, there will be separate themes for the days of Event:
Friday, November 17th - Ladies Day. An inspirational day designed to highlight and celebrate women in peak performance equestrian sports.
Saturday, November 18th - Hip, Handsome & Hoakey Hats Day. Equestrian festivals wouldn't be complete without hats of all sorts. Most memorable hats win prizes!
Sunday, November 19th - Family Focus Day. Horse-themed fun for all ages!
